History PhD students present papers at the ºÚÁÏÍø Postgraduate Research Conference in Stornoway
Three of the Centre for History's PhD students presented papers at the recent ºÚÁÏÍø Postgraduate Research Conference in Stornoway. Wade Cormack's paper was on ‘The development of sport and physical education in Scotland's northern mainland burghs, 1600-1800’; Mary Souter's was on ‘Public Health in the ºÚÁÏÍø and Islands of Scotland, 1845-1912’; and Linda Ross gave her paper on ‘The Dounreay Nuclear Establishments and its impact on the Northern ºÚÁÏÍø of Scotland’.
